She has been actively appraising real estate for twenty years. Karen is a State of Illinois Certified General Appraiser. She holds the IFAS designation from the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers. This is the senior designation from that organization. She has had considerable experience in court as an expert witness. Karen is certified to instruct other appraisers in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice developed by the Appraisal Foundation in Washington, D. C. There are only a few such certified instructors in the United States.
